How Might The Ketogenic Diet Alter Epileptic Seizures? - Stefanie Prast-Nielsen, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden
Podcast:
We hear about Stefanie’s clinical study involving fecal samples from a group of children with refractory epilepsy who started the ketogenic diet; investigating their gut microbiota and how it may be related to changes in epileptic seizures.
Stefanie also speaks of future international collaborations in collections of stool samples for furthering this epilepsy research.
Clinicians: you have any questions for Stefanie or would like to contact her to discuss collaboration in her new study, please connect with her via the links below.
Families: If you’d like to be involved in the study, please contact your neurologist.
