Elisabeth is both a consultant neurologist and Director of the Epilepsy Service at St James's Hospital and a senior clinical lecturer at Trinity College Dublin.
Elisabeth completed her medical training at Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany. She trained in epileptology, neurology, medicine, geriatric medicine and psychiatry in Ireland and Germany and has been practicing medicine in Ireland since 2010.
Elisabeth has a special interest in improving the quality of care delivery, delivering patient-centred care, improving access to specialist care and inclusion health. She is interested in the field of autoimmune epilepsy. Further to this she is passionate about improving access to nature in healthcare settings.
